When is prom?

Saturday, November 14, 2026. Doors open at 6:00 PM; event ends at 10:30 PM.

Where is prom held?

J Under the Dome, 1 Sequassen Street, Hartford, CT. It’s the same location as last year; the venue has a new name.

Where do I park?

Use the lot at 140 Huyshope Ave, Hartford. Tell the attendant you’re here for an event at J Under the Dome for free parking.
If you need a reserved handicap space, please email admin@lesbianhappyhourct.com by Friday, Nov 13. There is no official handicap signage; we will cone off spaces for you.

Is the venue accessible?

Can I buy a ticket at the door?

No. All tickets must be purchased in advance.

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Wear whatever makes you feel amazing — suits, gowns, jumpsuits, sparkles, sneakers. Prom attire is encouraged but not required.

Do I need a date?

Nope. Come solo, with friends, or with a partner — lots of folks attend solo.

Is there food?

Yes. A selection of small/lite bites will be available for purchase.

Is there a bar?

Yes — full bar on site. Cash and credit accepted. Outside beverages are not permitted. Non-alcoholic beverages are available.

Photos & photobooth

Yes! We’ll have a photobooth with free instant prints—take your photos and walk away with them right away. No waiting for uploads.

We may also capture general event photos for our community pages. If you prefer not to be photographed, please let a volunteer know on arrival or email admin@lesbianhappyhourct.com.

Who can attend?

Prom is for lesbians and queer women — including trans women, trans men, and nonbinary folks who connect with this community. If you can show up with respect, you belong here.
